If you are inquiring about booking a room,

Scenario 1: If you need one bed for 2 people, you have 3 choices:

  • Deluxe Room, this room is an economical option with comfortable bed and convenient amenities, however lake view from the room is not included.

  • Lake View King Bed with Balcony, those rooms have a view of Muskoka River and an outdoor balcony for you, this is our most popular room type.

  • Lake View Suite with Balcony, this room is the fanciest one and popular too, this suite has two floors, the living room is on the first floor and leads to an outdoor balcony overlooking Muskoka River, and the bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor. The bedroom upstairs has a Queen size bed. The living room downstairs has a pullout bed. The bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and a shower in the bathroom.

 

Scenario 2: If you need two beds, you have 3 options:

  • Lake View queen beds with balcony, this room offers two queen beds, lake view and outdoor balcony. 

  • Deluxe Suite, this room comes with a King bed in the bedroom, a pull out bed in the living room, and one private bathroom. You can see the Muskoka River from the living room window, but this room does not have a balcony. You will have the extra space you need if you are traveling with family. 

  • Lake View Suite with Balcony. Scenario 3: If you need a room for 3 adults, or 2 adults and less than 2 kids, you have the following choices:

Scenario 4: If you are inquiring for 4 and more people, you have the following options:

  • Lake View queen beds with balcony, this room offers two queen beds, lake view and outdoor balcony. The maximum capacity for this room is 4 people, due to fire safety, we couldn’t accommodate more than 4 people in one room. 

  • Book 2 rooms for your people. You can choose which two rooms you want, refer to scenario 1-3. If you need the 2 rooms next to each other, please call us or leave a special request in your booking, we will accommodate if we have 2 adjacent rooms for your stay.


 

How to book a room on our website www.innatthefalls.ca/rooms?

When you book directly on our website, you get 5% off your stay.

Go to your Rooms page, this page shows you all the room types, rate and availability. Now if you put your check-in and check-out date on the box to the left of the page, and put number of adults and number of kids in the search box, and click search, our website shows you the price and availability of all the rooms that are available to you, click the “BOOK NOW” button next to the rooms you want to book, and follow the instructions, fill in your contact details and payment information. After you fill in all the information, click “Complete Checkout”, you will get a booking confirmation in the email you provide, and you are all set!

 

Remember to sign up for the 5% book-direct coupon and input the coupon code and click Apply, your savings will be reflected on the reservation.

 

Do you have special requests, such as flowers in the room, floor preference, if you do, please leave a note in the Special Requests box.

 

What is the deposit fee?

When you book on our website www.innatthefalls.ca, 25% of the reservation total will be charged to your card as a deposit. We have set the deposit to the lowest our hotel system allows, which is 25%.

 

When you cancel your reservation, deposit is only refundable within free cancellation window. If your cancellation falls outside free cancellation window, deposit will be held as cancellation fee. See below for cancellation policy.

 

What is our cancellation policy?

We require 72 hours notice of cancellation, if your reservation is cancelled within 72 hours of your check-in date, we will charge the first night as the cancellation fee, as we won’t be able to resell your room with short notice. However, if your room is cancelled within the free cancellation period, we will refund your deposit and cancel the reservation for you for free. We look forward to your next reservation.

 

What amenities do we have?

All rooms have a hotel size fridge and a microwave. Cooking is not allowed in the room. We put treats in the room for you, it’s free, it includes yogurt, granola bar, orange juice, and coffee. There is a k-cup coffee machine in your room. 

 

Depending on the room you choose, some rooms have lake views and a balcony, some don’t. If you are on our website (www.innatthefalls.ca/rooms), all rooms with Lake View have a title beginning with Lake View. 

 

We are in downtown Bracebridge, it’s walking distance to all restaurants, stores on the main street. 

 

We have a trail going down to the wharf road next to Muskoka River, it’s in front of the Mews building.

 

We offer Netflix on our smart TV, we don’t use cable, you can watch lots of TVs, movies, and documentaries on Netflix without commercials.

 

We have a regular household BBQ using gas and lawn games in our outdoor space.

 

What is the Wifi password?

When you check into your rooms, you will notice Wifi information on a sign on the back of your door or on the working desk.

Is our food&beverage (restaurant, pub, patio) open?

We plan to open food & beverage service onsite in late July 2021, exact date is yet to be finalized, sign up here for update.

 

Do we offer breakfast?

Right now our food & beverage service onsite (restaurant, pub, patio) is not open, we offer complimentary breakfast items in guest rooms, it includes yogurt, granola bar, orange juice, and coffee. When the restaurant onsite is open, breakfast can be purchased in the restaurant.

Do we offer room service?

Right now we don't offer room service, we plan to add room service in 2022.

Could you have a campfire or bonfire on our property?

As our property is in town, we are surrounded by beautiful trees, for fire safety, we do not allow campfires or bonfires.

 

Do we have access to the lake?

We are next to Muskoka River, we have a trail going from our property down to the wharf road next to Muskoka River, it probably takes 2 minutes walking. We don’t have a dock on the Muskoka River, however guests could temporarily park their boat in the public dock of Muskoka River, inquire with the Town of Bracebridge for more information about boat parking.

 

What can you do in Muskoka?

There are all kinds of water activities to enjoy, it’s free for the public, it has a public swimming platform, a beach, and you can rent water gears (paddle boards, boats, kayaks) from local stores or bring your own. There are also lots of trails and beaches to explore. Google trails or beaches for details, or you can ask our front desk agents.

 

Where can you rent gears?

If you google outdoor gears in Bracebridge, you should see your options. There are two stores near us.

If you want to know the hours of operation, gear options, price and restrictions, it’s better to call the store directly and check with the store staff.

Is parking free? Could you park you boat? 

Yes, parking is free during your stay, one car per room. We have 2 parking lots at our property, one next to the Victorian House, the other upper parking lot is at the entrance of Mahaffy Court. We have a restaurant, a pub and a patio onsite. In the lunch and dinner rush hours, space is limited to park a boat, please inquire with our front desk for details.

 

Does our room have a separate bathroom?

Yes, every room comes with its private bathroom.

 

What is our check-in time?

Regular check-in time is 4pm.

 

Could you check-in early?

We try to accommodate early check-in as much as we can, however it depends on whether your room is occupied before you come, and how much time do we have to get your room ready for you. We cannot guarantee an early check-in, however we text you in the morning of your check-in date and ask for your estimated arrival time, and we will have a better idea at that time and we can confirm with you on that day. 

If you arrive early, and your room is not ready for early check in, you can leave your car in the parking lot and go for a walk nearby, and when your room is ready, we will call you and let you know.

If you arrive after 5pm, we will process payment over the phone, leave you a lockbox with a key, and text you the instructions to access your room. 

Could you check-in late?

Right now we have reduced front desk hours, front desk is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday, front desk is closed on Sunday. For any guests arriving in the hours when the front desk is closed, a front desk agent will contact you to process payment on the same day or second day of check-in, and leave a lockbox for you. Housekeeping is supported upon request of guests even after the front desk is closed.

What is our check-out time?

Regular check-out time is 11am.

 

Could you request a late check-out? Is late checkout free?

We accommodate late check-out as much as we can, however we need to get into the room asap and get it ready for next guests, all rooms need to be vacated before 2pm in the afternoon.

 

The latest time we can accommodate late checkout without charge is 12pm at noon. 

 

If we don’t have guests checking into your room next, we are flexible to let you stay till 2pm, please check with our front desk in the morning of your check-out date, and $15/hour for late check-out accommodations is payable upon request.


What is our pet policy, can you bring a pet?

We allow guests to bring pets, we charge a non-refundable cleaning fee, which is $50 plus HST per room per pet for your entire stay. As some of our guests are allergic to pets, if you are bringing a pet, please let the front desk know, we will do more cleaning when you check out. 

 

If you are bringing 2 pets, the non-refundable cleaning fee would be $100 plus HST for your entire stay. If you book through our website www.innatthefalls.ca/rooms, please specify the number of pets, the pet fee will be calculated in the total price of the reservation. 

 

Please make sure to let us know about pets or your pet allergies, as some allergic symptoms are life threatening, we appreciate that you inform us. 

 

Do we have any handicap rooms or rooms on the ground floor?

We have 8 rooms on the ground floor, which is easily accessible. However the bathtub is not handicap accessible, you will need assistance to get into the bathtub. 

The rooms on the ground floor are 3 Deluxe rooms which are on a separate wing accessed from the parking lot, 2 Lake view queen beds with Balcony, and 3 Lake View King beds with Balcony. 

Other Deluxe rooms, Deluxe suite, Lake View Suite are on the second floor of the Victorian House or lower floor of the Mews, we don’t have elevator access to rooms.

 

Please make sure to put floor preference, early check-in, late check-in, late check-out on the special requests in the reservation, when our front desk agent assigns rooms, he/she can accommodate accordingly. If we couldn’t satisfy the request due to the availability, we will let you know on the same day or next day after you book.

 

If you check out early in the morning, where should you leave the key?

Front desk is open from 9am to 5pm during pandemic hours from Monday to Saturday, and on demand hours on Sunday. If you check out before 9am, and agents are not present at the front desk, you can leave the key in the key drop box to the right of the reception desk. 

 

You like hiking, what trails do we have?

There are plenty of trails in Bracebridge, such as Bracebridge Resource Management Area, Bracebridge Bay Park which is next to us, people like walking along the Muskoka River, we also highly recommend Wilson’s Fall trail. We have a brochure with trails in all Muskoka towns at the front desk. When you check-in, we can lend it to you so you can check the details.

 

Can you see Bracebridge Fall in our property?

We are by Bracebridge Fall, Bracebridge Fall is actually a dam not a natural Fall, you can hear the Fall and enjoy the view of Muskoka River in our property.

 

Where are we located?

We are a boutique inn in Bracebridge downtown, we are the only inn in town that has a view of Muskoka River, an onsite restaurant, a pub and an outdoor patio and amazing outdoor space. Our address is 8 Mahaffy Court, we are in a quiet court off Ontario Street.

Are we open?

Guest rooms are open for booking. We plan to open our restaurant, pub and patio onsite in July 2021, exact date to be finalized, sign up here for update.

 

Where could you get food?

Our restaurant, pub and patio onsite will be open in July 2021, exact date to be finalized. At that time, you can enjoy food & beverages onsite. We are also close to all the restaurants on the main street, most of them offer take-out as well as inside dining when the restaurant restrictions are lifted. 

 

Close to us, there are the Old Station Restaurant for casual fine dining, El Publito for Mexican food, Wabora for Sushi, Main Street Deli, and several pizza stores.

Can you bring your own food?

We don't allow cooking in guest rooms, however we have an outdoor BBQ, if weather is permitted, you can bring food and do some BBQ. BBQ is first-come, first-serve.

 

This is your first time to Muskoka, where do we suggest you go?

There are lots of things to do in Muskoka, in summer, you will find lots of water activities, kayaking, boating, paddle boarding, swimming, relaxing at beaches. And there are lots of hiking trails. Bracebridge main street has lots of stores to check out. You can also relax and enjoy the view at our property.

 

You need to book rooms for a wedding, group and business, do we offer group rates?

We offer group rates if you book 5 rooms on the same night, or you stay with us for 5+ times a year. Please contact the front desk for more information to talk to the group booking agent, they are at the front desk from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday. Our phone number is 705-645-2245. Do you have a BBQ? What is your rules of using the BBQ under covid restriction?

We have an outdoor BBQ for our guests, it’s first come, first serve. Please follow all latest covid restrictions from the government when using the BBQ.

Do you offer CAA, senior, first responder discount?

We don't have CAA, senior, first responder discount yet. However we offer 5% off for booking directly on our website.
